July 2012 Painting



Untitled 40x34 oil on canvas.  Available for sale.  This one was very fun with many layers of paint.  The reason it was fun was because I took out all my aggression smearing the paint on the sides at the beginning, and then the many layers of color glazes.  This one has a nice smooth satin finish.   I think I'm going to keep this one.    I did not make this with the elephant in mind- it was one out of a couple ideas I had.  The other option was a telephone pole with some birds on it.
